Jupiter entered Leo on June 30th, 2026 and will remain in the Sun ruled fire sign until July 25th, 2027. The call for the external application of your beliefs and values is not going to be subtle. Inaction is a dangerous thing right now. The expansive, seeking and daring energy of Jupiter combined with the Solar principles of Leo ushers in a truly buzzing twelve months ahead of us. Wherever you have your natal Sun by sign and house, and whichever house has Leo on the cusp, tells a story about the year ahead. It is a story of your Sun being born again. It is no small thing to try to give new meaning to the Sun.
The Sun is the only source of light here. Our relationship to our Sun sign takes center stage, and it is about much more than visibility, ego, self expression, children and romantic relationships. This transit will reveal what gives you life, what becomes your legacy and what drains your life force. The desire to be seen is going to become prominent, and maybe at times even toxic. Because this year we are going to learn the difference between performance and being a source, between authenticity and an ego wound, between giving life and wasting it. Can you handle the weight of others seeing you fully, and can you keep sight of why you would want that in the first place?
I decided to open few spots this month for astrology readings, just a handful, since folks keep asking

On Jupiter in Leo - why we gathered here ( read this if nothing else)
On Jupiter
Here are some of the more significant themes associated with Jupiter: the principle of expansion, higher learning and education, spirituality and religion, the ability to see the big picture, looking into the future versus being in the now, what gives meaning and purpose to your life, the spirit of adventure and exploration, teachers and spiritual leaders, foreign travel and people of a different background than you, optimism and occasional delusion, mental and physical stretching, inflation, dogmatic opinions, nationalism, exaggeration, hope, universal law, the pursuit of justice and truth, freedom and what comes with it, and rapid changes of fortune. As you can see, it is a loaded archetype.
Jupiter is known as the greater benefic, a planet that corresponds with expansion, inflation and exaggeration. Whatever Jupiter touches is magnified, and that is important to understand. No matter how positive a planet is, it will highlight what most clearly needs our attention. It will either bring rewards, or direct us toward what unlocks those rewards. All in all, Jupiter facilitates growth, though the initial impact is often connected to the conditions we have accumulated by the time of the transit.
We live in a heavily Mercurial society, where we collect, research and accumulate unreasonable amounts of information, yet often fail to find a purpose or give meaning to it. It is important to look to Jupiter for fulfillment, for the realization of your potential and for spiritual well being. Jupiter corresponds to the things that elevate our worldly existence: faith, hope, adventure, travel, higher knowledge, philosophy and the pursuit of truth. Asking questions and doing research is important, but what for? What is the application? Ultimately, the application is the formation of a belief system, of a philosophy, so this life feels meaningful.
At the same time, every archetype has its shadow. When the Jupiterian principle dominates our lives, we risk becoming unable to see the other side, mistaking certainty for truth and conviction for wisdom. The Jupiterian view of the world, when not operating on higher principles, often lacks nuance. Nationalism and religious dogma are among its clearest manifestations. The essence of Jupiter is openness, the willingness to engage with opposing views, test your reality and keep refining your understanding. If the goal, consciously or not, is simply to be right, that is a compromised Jupiter.
On Leo.
Leo is a fixed fire sign that is under the domain of the Sun. The Sun is the only original source of light in our system, and we need to keep coming back to this fact. Your natal Sun placement is where your spirit awakens and pulls you out of your comfort zone and into greater self exploration. The house with Leo on the cusp is where you need to develop a healthy sense of pride and ego, and also not let pride and ego become your Sun. Leo is associated with our spirit, leaders, ego, children, pride, childhood, drama, dating and romance, confidence, self expression, honor, speculation and gambling, generosity, heroism, creativity and playfulness. All of those qualities are great, of course, but fixed fire needs to develop a healthy relationship to something greater than the self, a force to be reckoned with, so as not to fall victim to self aggrandizing narratives. Leo deals with the need to externalize the creative force within us. It seeks an application for what comes naturally and what is inherent, aka our talents.
Leo rules our heart, both in the physical and spiritual sense. The whole cardiovascular system is under the domain of this fire sign. One of the things that wears the heart out is the desire to prove oneself, to push beyond one’s physical and emotional capacity. Leo also rules children, our own childhood and the inner child. Children inherently do not feel that they need to earn or deserve love. Those narratives are developed as we grow up and our inherent worth is challenged. It is our job to keep reconnecting to that Leo house in our charts and to our own Sun, to remember the original setting and stop stretching our hearts for all the wrong reasons. The right to exist the way one was intended is a belief system we need to build upon here.
Jupiter in Leo
Last time we had Jupiter in Leo:
July 2014 to August 2015 and August 2002 to August 2003.
Take a stroll down memory lane. See what stories you believed back then and how they informed your life. With that in mind, be careful with the stories you tell yourself now.
Jupiter sets a tone for a lot of collective, social, political and cultural themes. The spirit of the time we find ourselves in is going to be heavily colored by this transit. Whatever bubbles up with Jupiter in Leo is unapologetic, honest and hard to contain. The childlike yearning for a new set of laws, personal and collective, for a new meaning that holds us together. It is also impossible to talk about Jupiter in Leo without looking at the opposite sign of Aquarius. The desire to build a bridge between your authentic self and the demand of the time becomes the central point of a pressure we are going to experience. Jupiter in Leo in opposition to Pluto in Aquarius is that pressure point. I think this transit needs its separate write up, but what it means in the nutshell is that growing into you is not just your individual journey, it is also a demand of this moment. Our individual return to the original/innate settings is the baseline of the collective evolution.
Jupiter transits through any sign is a test of the core quality of that sign, and the planet that rules it within you. It is not a promise of ease or happiness, it is a promise of alignment. Alignment has a high price in this day and age, especially alignment with the Sun. Jupiter in Leo is not about visibility or fame, it is about capacity to be the center of your own life and carry your light and most importantly take ownership of the consequence of taking this light into the world. The resonance with this transit has to be loud enough internally for us to be able to hold it externally. Jupiter in Leo doesn’t create anything from nothing, it takes what was given support through Jupiter in Cancer period, and now it starts rising up from the Cancerian depths into the outer world. From the subconscious mind into the conscious reality. The talents, the dreams cherished in the cocoon of your psyche, the knowledge about your essence now needs to be put on trial, because Jupiter in Leo is all about action and taking risks. With Saturn harmoniously aspecting this Jupiter, I do hope we can override the fears that were formed through the sensitive time in our childhood.
Jupiter in Leo is going to be in many ways about our potential, and everything that supports, extends and preserves this potential. The focus is on people and entities that are uniquely themselves and unapologetic in that. Jupiter is Leo magnifies inspiration and imagination, foolishness some might say, but really it is a capacity to not control the outcome of your actions that will make or break this transit. Because the South Node also enters Leo soon, I foresee how every step of this transit is going to be corrected by the South Node. South Node is a spiritual point, so you won’t be able to make a proper step ahead if the direction is devoid of your spiritual essence. The truth reigns in this theater. The pretense and false ego desires are going to leak through every little crack as we move. The inflation of the ego is also here, can you honor what you carry and not think that it is more significant than what someone else is carrying. It is the case of being a source of light or being a light imitator that we have to watch out for.
Because Jupiter deals with the global arena, international relationships, we can see a trend where charismatic leaders and figures will be rising across the board and taking more and more responsibility in decision making. I cannot say if it is a good or bad thing. But I can say that the fight for power and leadership positions is going to become so much more sharp, because it is becoming clear that many organizations and traditional entities crumble under the impact of one truly charismatic individual. Jupiter in Leo is an expansion of cultural, intellectual and ideological principles, the ability of one nation to dictate the overarching meaning to everyone else is going to be highlighted. Big words, gestures, desire to dominate and promises are on the horizon, but how much of that truly can stand the test of time is going to become clear fast. The whole global arena becomes even more theatrical, and the actors are becoming more and more dramatic. But Pluto across the wheel in Aquarius and South Node in Leo are not here to let arrogance and lack of substance run this show for too long, masks will be falling left and right.
I cannot and do not want to tell anyone to go and adopt a dream of fame and glory, but I do hope that you can notice what you project into the world, what is your relationship to the light and how would you want to carry the light you were granted. I want you to look at visibility as less of a goal and more of an exam, and look at all the reasons you would want to go through it. What is asked of you is boldness, taking risks on the niche things that make you giddy and understanding that your choices have consequences. Refuse to be palatable, being hard to swallow is also a survival tactic.
