Our heart journey through Nepal brought us to Bhaktapur, Namo Buddha Monastery, and the great stupa of Boudhanath. In each sacred place, we soaked in the beauty, heritage, and living spirit of Nepal—marinating in its deep kindness, devotion, and timeless wisdom. The women who traveled with us shared that it was truly life-changing. What a joy and honor to share this beloved country with such extraordinary women. Leading this retreat with my two amazing co-leaders, Tiphaine Bonetti and Shannon Harriman, was a dream come true.💛
My deepest motivation to teach comes from a wish to share the incredible gifts I’ve received through meditation, mind training, and heart-opening practice. Learning to work skillfully with the mind—and to rest in the heart’s innate radiance and wisdom—is a lifelong art. Teaching meditation in Nepal was pure joy, held by the land’s profound tradition and luminous spiritual energy. I’m endlessly grateful for the chance to offer and receive in this sacred place.

I’ve been deeply moved by this beautiful documentary about Andrea Gibson and Meg Falley, Come See Me in the Good Light, now viewable on Apple TV. This film is deep medicine for this moment in our collective and personal lives, just as Andrea’s life and poetry also was. Andrea has a way of speaking directly to the tender places in us—the ones that long for courage, softness, truth, and to feel truly alive—and this film brings all of that forward with breathtaking honesty and heartbreaking beauty.
Come See Me in the Good Light is powerful because it isn’t just art, it’s transformation in motion. Andrea invites us to witness what it looks like to meet life—with all its heartbreaks, awakenings, grief, humor, and grit—from the inside of an open heart. Their presence alone is a reminder of what becomes possible when we choose compassion over fear, and when we let love reorient the way we see ourselves and each other.
Stay tuned for an in-person retreat in Crestone, CO. that I will be offering in 2026!
