On the table: A notebook with a line drawn down the middle.
5 years ago, something in me finally gave out.
From the outside, you’d have thought nothing of it. But behind the scenes, I was the most fragile I had ever been.
What came out of that season ended up building everything I have now.
Here's the thing about losing yourself like that: most of us never see or even feel the descent. It isn't a dramatic fall. It's a slow drip. Tiny compromises. Quiet resentment. Another Monday you dread. Another Sunday spent mourning the week ahead. Until one day, you realize you've been running on empty for years.
This is for anyone carrying a discomfort they can't quite explain. Nothing is objectively wrong. On paper, your life might even look great. But something feels off. You're uninspired. Restless. Maybe even quietly unraveling.
If you’re craving a life that actually feels like yours, I’m going to share the exact framework I used to build one. The same framework that took me from barely being able to get out of bed to waking up genuinely excited for an ordinary Tuesday.
Before you dive in, know this.
This article isn’t about quitting your job, chasing your wildest dreams, or dropping everything to move to a new city. Those radical changes do change your life, of course. But I simply wanted to love my very average days again.
This is about small, intentional actions you can take every day, over time, to build a life you love. The patience, the decisions, the systems, and mindset shifts that took me from feeling stuck in a career that wasn’t serving me anymore to creating a life I wouldn’t trade for anything.
So let’s start at the beginning.
