December on its own is special— the lights, the scents, the way everyone seems to lean a little more into celebration. And even without trying, it just feels special.
Buuuut when you add a bit of intention? It becomes pure magic.
I put this calendar together to bring that feeling back— one tiny daily moment at a time. Nothing overwhelming, just small daily habits that make the season feel sweeter, calmer, and full of that childhood nostalgia we all miss.
Dec 1
light a candle that smells like pine or vanilla and make your December Pinterest board — holiday decor inspo, recipes, and Christmas party outfits.
Dec 2
switch your phone to a festive wallpaper or make your own on Pinterest.
Dec 3
buy fresh winter greenery and refresh a corner of your home.
Dec 4
start a new holiday-themed book. highly suggest the Winter Street series by Elin Hilderbrand!
Dec 5
get a fresh holiday manicure (or paint your own). I’m thinking Big Apple Red or Malaga Wine from OPI.
Dec 6
treat yourself to a seasonal baked good from a local bakery (a peppermint cookie, almond croissant, gingerbread— whatever you want!)
Dec 7
drop off canned goods, warm socks, or toiletries at a local shelter or community drive.
Dec 8
play a holiday playlist and tidy one small space you’ve been ignoring. if you don’t have a fave holiday playlist, try my “smooth jazz christmas” on Spotify!
Dec 9
have a cozy night in: take a hot shower, put on flannel pajamas, and watch something comforting.
Dec 10
write your holiday bucket list— markets, baking days, movie nights.
Dec 11
bake something seasonal. highly recommend my snowflake cinnamon rolls.
Dec 12
buy a new ornament that reminds you of this chapter of your life.
Dec 13
take a nighttime walk with a hot drink and look for the prettiest holiday window displays.
Dec 14
start wrapping your gifts. if you need inspo, I found the cutest vintage-inspired paper on amazon!
Dec 15
sign up to volunteer somewhere before the end of the year.
Dec 16
make a winter charcuterie board for one (cheese, fruit, chocolate, nuts) and enjoy it by candlelight.
Dec 17
treat yourself to a mid-week luxury: a farmer’s market bouquet, a new body wash, or a cozy latte at your favorite café.
Dec 18
go through old photos or home videos from past holidays and pick one memory to recreate this week— a family recipe or tradition.
Dec 19
mix a festive cocktail or mocktail (you gotta try my holiday Hugo Spritz) and watch The Holiday.
Dec 20
do a small act of kindness — hold a door, buy someone a coffee, leave a sweet note.
Dec 21
winter solstice — reflect on what the darkness taught you this year and what light you want to invite in.
Dec 22
set up a cozy movie nest or fort — complete with blankets, pillows, and snacks.
Dec 23
have a slow, nostalgic “Christmas Eve Eve”: make hot cocoa, turn off the lights except the tree, and watch a classic you grew up with.
Dec 24
Christmas Eve: light candles, play soft music, and bake dessert for tomorrow.
Dec 25
Christmas Day: do one thing that makes you feel present — a slow breakfast, a long walk with the fam, or a few minutes journaling about what feels special today.
Dec 26
embrace the in-between week and have a rot day! movies, leftovers, repeat.
Dec 27
choose one small area to reset for the new year — your nightstand, makeup bag, fridge, or entryway. nothing big!
Dec 28
reflect on your year: write down your top 10 moments — tiny or huge. the things that made the year feel warm or meaningful.
Dec 29
call or video chat with a family member or friend you haven’t talked to in a while — just to share a moment before the year ends.
Dec 30
set a cozy scene for your new year intentions: candles, soft music, something warm to drink. jot down how you want to feel in 2026 and what you want to invite in.
Dec 31
New Year’s Eve: I’d be happy to share a solo NYE itinerary if you’d like! I find spending it at home feels so fulfilling and special x
