I just realized recently that I have never lived anywhere in my life longer than I have in our current home (we moved in fall ‘20). Lots of moves in my childhood and then once I was in the city, I switched apartments every couple years. Isn’t that wild?
I lived for the change up. How differently life feels in a new neighborhood and home. The opportunity and stimulation of it all stirred my soul every single time. It’s why I started moving my bedroom around weekly as a kid — I got a taste of that and have forever been addicted. Still trying to get used to staying put!
It now comes in the form of home projects, which happen to be endless as a homeowner. We have a few projects we are working on — I mention in snippets below and will get more into them soon.
Our current house doesn’t allow for a lot of furniture rearranging (especially the bedrooms), but I have been brainstorming ways I can make small and big changes where possible to freshen up our backdrop. I go through phases of being inspired to tinker and then take pauses… clearly feeling the itch!
