This one is going to be quick because I have work to do, you probably have stuff to do, and we have a time limit on this stuff.
Thanks to the excitement about IF DESTRUCTION BE OUR LOT… it seems demand for issue #1 has surpassed supply, so we’re reprinting it.
This new cover is by the one and only Tyler Boss, obviously. We’ve been doing the Where’s Abe? homage covers like ICE CREAM MAN, SEX CRIMINALS, and EIGHT BILLION GENIES. We figured it was time to seem like raging egomaniacs and reference our own book WHAT’S THE FURTHEST PLACE FROM HERE?. So you can get this very fun cover at your local comic shop. But here’s the catch. Final Order Cutoff is today. Like now basically. So you have to let them know if you want it or they might not get it. Call them, message them, stop in, do whatever. Just don’t assume they’ll have it.
I sent out an email to all the shops (in the U.S.) telling them that if they were ordering the reprint to let me know and I’d send them some stickers and Abe Bucks™ to give out to people who get the 2nd prints. A bunch of shops got back to me, so maybe yours is one of those and you can get some fun free stuff. If not, you can remind them they still have time.
If you’re unsure if you still want to pick up the book, we made an updated trailer with some quotes and reviews. If this doesn’t push you over onto team Abe I don’t know what will.

And lastly, my never ending press tour presses on. I visited Bearded Comic Bro for a chat about Destruction and a bunch of other stuff.
I was also lucky enough to be on the Gatecrashers podcast where I could talk about all the normal stuff but, much more importantly, I got to talk about my favorite sandwich of all time.
As with all of these you can get them wherever you get podcasts, or watch on youtube. We live in a world of convenience.
Now we’re going to talk about something near and dear to my heart. If you live in or near New York City and you don’t go to Rooftop Films you’re missing out on one of my favorite things in the whole world.
Underground movies. Indie music. Incredible venues. It really is that simple. I have seen so many of my favorite films of all time at Rooftop Films over the years and now, in their 30th year, they are asking for some support. But it’s not just a donation. You can get yourself a ton of awesome free stuff like tickets to movies and shows, merch from some of the best films of the last few years, and so much more. And you support a vital arts organization that lives by the simple idea that we need to make spaces for great art to be seen, heard, and experienced.
I’ve seen bands like The Mountain Goats, TV on the Radio, Sharon Van Etten, Kurt Vile, Mitski, Titus Andronicus, Marathon, members of Fugazi, Cursive, and Cap’n Jazz, and so many more play their screenings. I have seen too many films to list that I love, and films I might not get to see anywhere else. But beyond that, Rooftop Films also supports the community in so many ways but providing free screenings for communities, grants to filmmakers whose work needs to be seen, and so much more. So even if you’re not in NYC there are plenty of reasons to give.
And yes, full disclosure my brother Mark Elijah Rosenberg is the founder and creative director of Rooftop Films. But I’d be saying all this even if he wasn’t. (Well except for this part, obviously.)
Since I’ve already been hyping up Home Front in this post might as well keep that going.
