Background

I’ve been running linux on all of my machines for almost 15 years. For the first five I probably used a dozen or more flavours of Linux including OpenSuse, Fedora, Arch, Ubuntu, and many others. Eventually wiping my computer every month became more and more impractical and I abandoned my distro-hopping ways, settling on Ubuntu. Ubuntu was stable, regularly updated, had an environment that I really liked (despite what some people may say about the unity interface) and I never looked back. That is until recently when I started using Pop!_OS.
