There’s ample energy in the atmosphere, but we need something to provide lift to inspire action. We need a hero!

The circled area in Southeast Arizona could still pop, but that impacts Tucson.

If we get colliding outflow boundaries, it will likely be between sunset and midnight. Don’t be surprised if we get a dusty blow (again) this evening. FYI - the epic dust storm from a few nights ago was graded as “Category 5” in ASU dust storm parlance, with dust remaining suspended in the atmosphere for a good twelve hours!
