March can be considered the ramp up to the actual MLB season, with spring training games in full swing to the eventual opening day on March 25, 2026.

Notable spring training games,

Several WBC teams will hold exhibition games.

New York Yankees return to Cactus League Spring Training after 75 years

March 23rd and 24th at Sloan Park, playing the Cubs. Last time the Yankees played in the Cactus League was in 1951.

Detroit Tigers make a Cactus League Spring Training appearance after 97 years

Tigers will player the Rockies March 23rd and 24th. The Detroit Tigers were famously the first MLB team to hold Spring Training in 1929 in Phoenix.

Diamondbacks’ opening day will be March 26th against the Dodgers in Los Angeles, with the home opener on March 30th.

The KBO’s NC Dinos will be playing exhibition games against 3 MLB teams.

I am also including a heads to something I am not completely comfortable sharing as I have no reference to review.

Boomball is coming to Camelback Ranch on March 28th. There is no previous event footage, there is no actual live footage, most of the ads for this have been AI and boosted by influencer ads just citing the AI footage. There have been more coming out, but just…interesting.

It looks harmless enough, a Banana Ball clone with some tweaks. I still say buyer beware being that this looks like the very first game. That can be endearing or worrying.
