On February 15, 2023 ClamAV published a security advisory detailing a potential remote code execution vulnerability in its HFS+ file parser. This vulnerability was given the CVE identifier of CVE-2023-20032. While reading about this vulnerability, I stumbled across an open pull request indicating that its possible for non-privileged users to disable clamav.
