Lately, I've been experimenting with managing my creative time in a way that is more effective. It's important for me to get my creative work done—probably more so now than ever. But at the same time, I don't want to fall into being my own worst boss. So I've been playing with different ways of arranging my time that respects my needs and limits.
As I'm discovering what kind of work rhythm suits this season of my life, I really feel like things are beginning to click into place. It’s like I can almost sense how the changes I'm making are leading me towards where I need to be right now. It's like I'm building more thoughtful space for my creative work and business, while simultaneously keeping that time in check so I can give the needed attention to other parts of my life as well.
For a deeper look into my relaxed time flow experiment, you can find more in my latest blog post, How I'm Currently Creating a Balanced Daily Flow.
I've also been playing with creating a simple podcast, called Random Musings on Creative Tech. It's just me taking some time to fan girl over my favorite tech stuff, and how I use these resources in my creative practice. The first episode is all about my love of upcycling old computers.
Also, I'm still updating my novel a little at a time. I’m literally just following whatever feels alive for me right now.
Thank you so much for being here as I'm busy experimenting, creating, and sharing. Sending out wishes that you also find your own creative flow.
