Lately I’ve been learning to appreciate that it’s not the end of the world if my self-expression isn’t perfect.
Even if what I share isn’t as flawless and pristine as I want it to be, the imperfections still carry value. When experimenting with what true expression is for me, messiness is an unavoidable part of the process. Because, this is art.
I think in some way, I will always be rediscovering. I will always be finding what I need to reclaim through failure—even if there aren’t any moments of success available to “complete the story” and all that’s left behind is a collage of impressions in my subconscious.
It’s like music arising in the presence of a cracking glass. Or antique tea cups receiving love despite the dust and the dirt.
With this in mind, a couple of new blog posts have arrived. Here are their songs:
A Song of Reclaiming the Lost Pieces of Me.
A Song of Dragons, Love, and Creative Flow Secrets.
Embracing the imperfections and quirks of my creative voice is up there with being the richest emotional healing process I have ever experienced, next to fully recovering from social anxiety and regular panic attacks, which has also been a long and winding journey with set-backs.
Because for me the core of all of this has been about letting go of control and fully working with what is truly here: the broken, the messy, the weird, the ordinary—and yet finding something meaningful and even delightful within it all. Somehow, even with distortion, the sounds still carry harmony and can become something.
So this is where my brain waves are currently taking me, and I really appreciate you being here. ❤️
Sending my best wishes when it comes to rediscovering what belongs to you, because sometimes life is just one big treasure hunt. And the best treasure is found in the overlooked places.
