This one is more for the parents than the kids, but it’s a fun bit of nostalgia for me.
I wrote this back in 2017 when I was a very new dad. At the time, I was processing the new challenges of parenthood and how they fit alongside my day job, freelance comics, and podcast work. I pitched it to a comics anthology called Planetside, and they accepted it. Matt Grigsby brought it to life with his art, Ryan Hill gave it color, and Kevin J Stanton lettered it.
It’s more slice-of-life and meditative than most of the stuff I’ve written, which is a fun change of pace too. For me, at least!
