Week 07: Realizing Ignorance in Agents & Observability, Ethical AI & Dropping Readwise
I realized I am only a level-two agent user, faced how immature our observability platform is, shipped my first sponsored article, and quit Readwise for good.
What I learned
- From this awesome tutorial, I learned I am a pathetic agent user. I am at level-2, there are levels upto 7. Ignorance is a bliss till it is not.
- Also, learned about compound-engineering-plugin for using Claude Code Assistant the right way. God, I am so behind all these.
- Realized our work observability platform is immature compared to industry standards. We over-focused on AI o11y and missed basic foundations like
group bysupport. Now that the gaps are clear, we are focused on rebuilding the right way.
What failed
- I got into the meeting maze this week and did not get enough bandwidth to make any progress on my observability series.
- This weekend I went on a trip and could not publish this at the right day i.e. Sunday. More on the trip I will write on a dedicated post.
What I built
- I published my first sponsored article on 9th Feb: “Ethical AI in modern business” (since removed from the site).
Random Thoughts and Quotes
- Readwise helps you to remember the books/articles/highlights you read. I used it for three years, a paid subscriber. Then, one day I realized what if reading and getting reminders of old you is not allowing you to grow yourself to another version of you? Yes, you may miss the lessons taught in past. But, that is ok. I believe whatever you need will come to you at the right time or you will find a way to search for it. Now a days I just subscribe and learn whatever comes on my RSS feed.
