Accessibility Statement

Summary

SecurityChecklist aims for keyboard navigation, readable contrast, and assistive-technology support on first-party pages and assessment UIs. This statement is operational intent, not a WCAG conformance certificate, VPAT, or warranty.

Report barriers via /contact/ with the page URL, assistive technology, browser or OS, and what failed. Prefer free tools such as /security-checkup/ while commercial templates remain under QA.

No WCAG level, auditor name, or VPAT link is published here. Third-party vendor UIs after a deal-link exit are out of scope. No WCAG audit record is published yet.

  • No fabricated compliance seals
  • Quality gates include accessibility checks before QA sign-off
  • We do not publish product scores on this page.

Purpose

Accessibility feedback helps us fix barriers in tools, tables, and trust pages before wider commercial indexation.

SecurityChecklist would rather publish honest intent than fake compliance badges. A missing certification seal is not a claim of inaccessibility; it is a refusal to invent audit theater.

Commercial pages that mention Aura, NordPass, Bitdefender, or other products still follow free-first and who-should-not-buy rules. This accessibility stub does not rank those products or invent detection rates.

  • Invite reports of access barriers
  • Avoid fake compliance badges
  • WCAG audit verification remains a residual gate

Policy

We intend to follow applicable accessibility best practices for public pages and assessment UIs. Formal conformance level (for example WCAG 2.2 AA) is pending verification and is not asserted here.

Legal text and procurement-style statements need audit evidence before we publish them. Treat this page as a description of how the site is built and maintained, not as a warranty.

  • No fabricated VPAT or certification seals
  • Known issues will be listed when identified
  • Third-party embedded content may have separate limits
  • Legally binding accessibility wording is not published yet

Process

Quality gates include accessibility checks before production QA sign-off. Failures block marking tasks complete when applicable. Automated checks do not replace human review of focus order, labels, and error text.

Report barriers via /contact/ with the page URL, assistive technology used, browser or OS, and what went wrong. Do not include passwords or identity documents.

Assessment UIs should show basic results before any email ask, keep keyboard focus visible, and avoid trapping focus inside dense comparison tables. Research tools may remain limited while their scope is confirmed.

  • Keyboard and focus issues
  • Contrast or text resize problems
  • Form labels and error messaging gaps
  • Table or comparison layout that traps keyboard users

Scope (what this covers)

This statement covers first-party pages on www.securitycheckli.st, including trust pages, free tools, and commercial templates under active QA.

Affiliate destinations, vendor dashboards, and third-party widgets are outside our control. When a deal-link click leaves our site, the destination's accessibility is the vendor's responsibility.

  • In scope: SecurityChecklist UI and content chrome
  • Out of scope: vendor product UIs after a tracked exit
  • Internal preview surfaces stay separate from the public site

Known limitations (honest status)

Some newer commercial templates and enterprise workflows may still have accessibility gaps we are working through.

We do not publish a dated known-issues register yet. When we do, it will list barriers with checked dates rather than vague continuous-improvement language.

  • No WCAG conformance level claimed
  • No auditor name or VPAT link published
  • Dense comparison tables may still need further keyboard review

Who should not rely on this page alone

Do not treat this statement as a procurement VPAT, WCAG certificate, or product ranking for Aura, NordPass, Bitdefender, or any other vendor. Anyone who needs emergency assistive-technology support for a vendor product should contact that vendor.

Skip shopping from this page. Free hygiene steps and /security-checkup/ remain the practical next steps.

  • Intent, not certification
  • No product scores here
  • Security issues still go to /security/

Accountability

We will update this statement when an audit completes or when known limitations are catalogued. Until then, treat it as intent, not a guarantee.

Accessibility feedback is editorial website support, not emergency incident response. Security vulnerabilities still go to security@securitycheckli.st.

Contact or escalation

Accessibility feedback: /contact/ or intel@securitycheckli.st. Prefer the Contact form enquiry type for website support when available. Do not include passwords or identity documents.

Operator identity for directory and outreach consistency: SecurityChecklist; +1 888 437 8441; One World Trade Center, 285 Fulton Street, 85th Floor, Suite 8500, New York, NY 10007, United States.

Final verdict

This trust page states policy and process only. It does not publish product scores. Affiliate payout never sets ranking. Overall product scores are not assigned until verification is complete. Commercial recommendations require verified sources before publication.

  • No fabricated scores or invented lab results
  • Free remedies before paid recommendations on commercial pages
  • Commercial pages are published once they pass accessibility and quality checks

Limitations

  • No WCAG conformance level is claimed on this page.
  • Audit date, auditor name, and VPAT links are not yet published.
  • Some newer commercial templates may still have accessibility gaps we are working through.
  • This statement describes current practice and is not a formal legal notice.
