The Prototype Fund team provides advice and support to the projects during the funding period. In addition, the team works on the continuous development of the program, because that is also what the Prototype Fund is: a prototype itself.

Co-Director
Marie runs the Prototype Fund together with Patricia. She studied literature and cultural journalism and was previously involved in various projects at the intersection of journalism, data protection and FOSS.
Patricia Leu she/her
Co-Director (on parental leave)
Patricia manages the Prototype Fund together with Marie. She studied religion and culture, Spanish and economics in Berlin. She previously worked in public relations for various NGOs.
Paul Robben he/him
Communication
Paul studied mathematics and is active in the climate justice movement. Previously, he worked at BUND e.V., where he organized the Bits & Bäume Conference 2022.
Marie-Lena Wiese she/her
Program Management
Marie-Lena studied Middle Eastern Studies and Political Science in Halle, Marburg and Cairo. Previously, she was part of a project for digital democracy promotion and worked on strategies against desinformation, group-focused enmity and radicalisation on the internet.
Sophia Schulze Schleithoff she/her
Research
Sophia is responsible for research at the Prototype Fund. She studied politics, economics, and philosophy in Hamburg.
Enyong Küsgen she/her
Program Management
Next to the Prototype Fund, Enyong supports groups, organizations and individuals in building structures and workflows that match their needs, resources and goals. A key focus of her work is the exploration of individual and collective well-being as a foundation for sustainable collaboration.
