GameCube Sales Climbing

According to German website Golem, combined sales of the GameCube and GBA have topped the charts in Germany. GameCube sales have been particulary noteworthy. Since the GameCube debuted in Germany, Nintendo has sold approximately 600,000 units. However, there has been a recent surge in system sales, with reports of 100,000 GameCube consoles sold between January 2004 and July 2004. Quite an increase.

For Q1 2004, Nintendo's portable system and the GameCube made up 52% of all system sales in Germany. The upswing has increased Nintendo's market share to 26% as of June 26, four percent higher than it was during Q1 2004.
