Nintendo has outdone itself again at this year's Space World 2001 by introducing a "spice" colored hardware alongside black and indigo (purple) as official colors. Purple is the only color launching in Japan, but the black and orange consoles will be available at a later date.
In America Nintendo will release two shades of the GameCube console for launch: indigo and jet black. And to "spice" things up the orange tone will be available on controllers only. In addition to this the company will also sell a half-and-half controller featuring an indigo top and transparent bottom. That's a four different controller shades to choose from: indigo, jet black, spice, and indigo/transparent.
