Arizona Student Loan Code of Conduct
The Arizona Student Loan Code of Conduct establishes strict standards to prevent conflicts of interest between schools, employees, and student loan lenders by prohibiting gifts, compensation, revenue sharing, and inappropriate financial relationships. It also ensures transparency and student choice by regulating preferred lender lists, requiring disclosures, prohibiting lender promotion or influence, and prioritizing federal aid over private loans. GCU does not have a preferred lender list.
The code, which GCU fully supports and complies with, was developed by the Arizona Attorney General’s Office in conjunction with Arizona universities and colleges.
