Delta of the defaults
A brief update to the apps I use, following up from the Default Apps discussion starting in November 2023. I’m only including the (thankfully few) things that changed since my my original list from February 2024. Thanks to Leon Mika for the idea of framing this as a delta, which I shamelessly borrow.

There’s only really 3 changes here. Much as I want diversity in the browser landscape, I moved away from Firefox because something about Mozilla made me feel icky, but I don’t love any of the options. I moved away from Inoreader because the constant stream of updates wasn’t doing good things for my media consumption habits, and Miniflux gives me more control about when updates appear. And I finally caved and wrote my own task management software. This is the first side project I actually sort of turned into a usable product, and I should probably do some promotion of it, or at least tell people it exists.
