Technology

All modern technology builds on a huge amount of work from other people, and this site is no different. Some of the notable projects that this site is built on top of are:

• Mistune for rendering Markdown
• Pygments for syntax highlighting
• The Jinja2 templating engine
• Sass
• The Caddy HTTP server

The main font of this site is Inter and the monospace font is IBM Plex Mono.

Look and Feel

The aesthetics of this site have been influenced by a number of different sources over the years.

• The Risotto theme for Hugo (nb. this site has never used Hugo)
• rsapkf.org influenced a large quantity of the current generation of the site - even if this was done as a white-box implementation
• The confetti on the homepage is powered by a slightly modified version of confetti.js
