Authenticates the user using the WordPress auth cookie.

WP_User or WP_Error object from a previous callback.

Username. If not empty, cancels the cookie authentication.

$password(строка) (обязательный)

Password. If not empty, cancels the cookie authentication.

Иммет атрибут #[\SensitiveParameter], который скрывает значение параметра из логов. Используется для защиты чувствительных данных (например, паролей). Документация.
