About
I'm Tobias, a software engineer working in computational proteomics at MSAID GmbH.
I pursued doctoral studies in bioinformatics at TU Munich before transitioning to industry work in computational proteomics. These days I spend most of my time on planning and exploring R&D projects.
My background spans database systems, machine learning for proteomics, and the eternal challenge of turning research code into something that actually works reliably. I'm particularly interested in the intersection of theoretical concepts and practical implementation - the messy middle ground where math and computer science meets reality.
