Isabel Repiso received her PhD in Linguistics in 2013 (Université d’Aix-Marseille and University of Salamanca) with a thesis on the acquisition of French as a second language. In 2014, she completed a postdoctoral stay in Singapore (Nanyang Technological University) through a programme on multilingualism funded by the European Commission. In 2015, she obtained a permanent teaching position as Maître de conférences at the Université de Haute Alsace. At this university, she taught for four years in the Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Languages and in the Master’s Degree in Translation. Since 2019, she has been conducting research activities and teaching disciplines related to bilingualism at Salzburg Universität, Austria. His research results have been published in Studies in Language Acquisition (De Gruyter), Studies in Bilingualism (John Benjamins) and Theoretical Linguistics.
