When will you finish?
In a rough order, here are things I am working on or hope to accomplish...someday.
Perhaps by the end of 2026
- Buy a Minolta Maxxum 35mm SLR, with at least one lens (zoom) and possibly two (a fast prime).
- Buy an A-mount to E-mount adapter so I can fit Minolta/early Sony DSLR lenses onto my Sony camera.
- Trade in my Sony a7ii, its 24-70mm kit lens, a Tamron 28-200mm zoom lens, a Canon EOS Rebel XSi, a Canon 28-135mm zoom lens, and a Canon 16-35mm lens...all for a Sony a7v or something similar.
- Celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary to L. at a nice place.
Some point in 2027
- Resume planning for a Taiwan and Okinawa trip in the latter half of the year.
- Ensure that I. is paid off for the camera and lens.
- Visit the in-laws in Florida one last time before they move out of state.
After 2027?
- Work on a Spain/Portugal trip so L. can revisit some of her haunts from 25+ years ago.
- Prepare for L.’s parents to leave Florida and relocate full-time to New Hampshire.
