The Continuity Card

Squiggly metallic looking shapes Risograph printed in aqua and black inks on a sheet of white paper on a light-colored wood surface
Some previously unfinished artwork pieces newly repurposed

Sometimes you get on a roll and the only thing to do is run with it. Sunday unexpectedly turned into one of those days where a little time in the studio resulted in a nice little collection of work including an edition of two different Riso prints,1 and the first two of three colors down on a screen print edition.

And to keep the momentum going, I was right back at it this morning to wrap up the third color. Now onto some entirely different things for the rest of the day…

Footnotes

Printed on Crane Lettra 110# Cover cotton stock which is very toothy and textured which is great for ink absorption (important for the Riso), but less great for even ink coverage on large solids. Adds to the imperfect charm though in this case.
