I love this line from artist David Hockney. “Seeing” for a camera is essentially effortless. For us lowly flesh bags, it takes practice and effort. And most of the time we barely scratch the surface of what’s right in front of our faces. It’s a simple fact that most probably are uncomfortable admitting is true. And while a camera may stop time in a sense, that particular arrow continues forward whether we’re looking or not.
