Originally from Ayrshire Scotland, Adam grew up on a well-balanced diet of NME and Kerrang magazines. A part time artist and poet he came to Skye to get away from bustle of city life, climb mountains and embark on new creative projects.
Shaun Panda Nicolson is the presenter, editor and, well, everything of the 4 Songs and a Dream Podcast and new show At LAS. I always had in interested in radio by being inquisitive as to how things worked on air and how different sounds could merge together to create a radio show. I remember my Dad taking me to the Radio 1 Roadshow when we were on holiday in Clacton-on-Sea. That's when Radio 1 had a huge following, long before the days of local and community radio. I started volunteering with my local Hospital Radio Station and learnt how radio worked. We were good, without sounding too self congratulatory, and won many awards at the National Hospital Radio Awards, never forgetting that it was all about the listener and never the station.
Harry's interest in music outside the mainstream began in 1988 on hearing a live Hawkwind concert on Radio 1 and he's been pushing the boundaries since then. His show covers music ranging from Progressive, Alternative and Underground through to Reggae, Dance and a bunch of other stuff thrown in for good measure. When not on the radio, Harry works as a Cartographer / Geographic Information Systems Specialist and loves getting out and about in Skye and travelling.
Gill Adams is well known in the community as being the Chair of Skye & Lochalsh Young Carers. She is dedicated to giving her time to support the work they do and finds her fulfilment in being involved in local projects.
