Project Hack — Player Wiki
A BitBurner-inspired incremental hacking game: you write JavaScript scripts that hack servers for you, hire hackers and buy machines to grind hacking XP passively, spend that XP (plus money) on research, and take on boss fights and other players as you level up.
This wiki documents everything currently known about how the game works — mechanics, formulas, and systems — so you can plan strategy instead of guessing. It reflects the state of the game as of this writing; numbers may be tuned over time.

The Core Loop
- Write a script in the Code Editor using the
nsscripting API to automate hacking servers on the network. - Spend the money you earn on hackers and machines (passive hacking-XP generation) and RAM (lets you run bigger scripts).
- Level up your hacking skill, which unlocks tougher servers, boss fights, research, and other tabs.
- Spend money + hacking XP on research for permanent upgrades.
- Take on boss fights for big one-time rewards (and real risk).
- Once authenticated, raid other players in PvP and climb the leaderboard.
Money in this game is called DWC in the UI.
