dn42 Peering

Peering with Illuminate (AS4242421413)

This page provides information to peer with me on dn42. Please read everything here.

Requirements:

• Good contact info.
• Latency less then 70ms to the node(s) you wish to peer with.
• Willing to use Wireguard.
  • Preferbly with a pre-shared key but not required.
• Extended next hop support.
• ROA.

Illuminate currently has the following nodes:

• 🇫🇮 Porygon-Z (Helsinki, Finland)
  • Hostname: porygonz.pikachu.systems (IPv4, IPv6)
  • Enabled features: Multiprotocol, Extended next hop, Extended message, dn42 BGP communities, BFD (10 seconds)

To prevent too much of a back and fourth, please be sure to supply the following:

• The node you wish to connect to
• Your ASN number
• The public address/hostname of your host.
• Wireguard details
  • Public key
  • Port number
  • Link-Local IPv6
  • Pre-Shared key (If applicable)
• Any other changes from usual.
• If your IP address is dynamic (Such as from a Residential location.)
