Email Service review
Score: 6/10Outbound email at last, with plenty of beta caveats.
The breakdown explains the score. It is not an average. How to read these.

Email Service is the long-awaited other half of Cloudflare’s email offering. It sends transactional mail from Workers and manages SPF, DKIM, and DMARC alongside the rest of your DNS. Keeping the domain, app, and its outgoing mail on one platform is appealing.
It’s also new, and email sending is a domain where trust is earned over years, not quarters. Deliverability reputation, feedback loops, bounce handling maturity, and analytics depth are all still behind the established senders, and the feature surface is minimal by comparison.
I’m rooting for it because removing a separate email provider would simplify plenty of systems. Today, I would use it for low-stakes internal notifications and wait before moving anything where a message landing in spam costs money.

Counts what Cloudflare published, not what broke: time open is how long the status entry stayed open, and nothing before May 2026 is tracked at all. Incidents Cloudflare tagged against nothing but named in the title are counted too. The caveats in full.
