from Hillary Clinton: The Inside Story, by Judith Warner (number of quotes indicated): |
BOOK REVIEW by OnTheIssues.org:
This book was written in 1993, when Hillary had recently become First Lady. Now Hillary has recently been designated as Secretary of State, and it's interesting to compare how she was viewed in 1993.
This book is intended to give insight into Hillary's character and her personal origins. The author, Judith Warner, is a New York Times reporter, and former writer for "Ms. Magazine." She focuses on Hillary's feminism and activism, from a feminist perspective.
If Hillary had won the presidential nomination, this book probably would have been re-released with a new foreword, and perhaps would have been a best-seller.
