what's danny up to?
A sort-of up-to-date page of what I'm doing and stuff that I'm focusing on, 'cause why not. Inspired by the likes of nownownow.com, and I'll probably mess with this page every once in a while.

whatchu up to?
Been at the new job for about a couple of months now, and I like to think that I've been adjusting well to this new and big change. It still has this weird feeling to it, but I've definitely felt more in control lately. Right now I'm still sort of in this maintenance mode, but I'm slowly branching out to freely do things, both in my personal life and creatively.
The main thing in my life right now really has been adjusting to living on my own and the new job, and thankfully I've felt more confident and competent about it! The team I'm working with have all been lovely to work with so far too.
- Drawing-wise: Focusing on commissions right now! I opened up a rather sudden batch of commissions after about a year of not doing any, primarily because I want to prepare myself for buying the Switch 2, haha. So far so good I think...
- Coding-wise: Programming has taken a bit of a backseat lately, both because of the move and the commissions I've been doing. I have updated the look of this blog again though, and I do want to get back to at least one or two projects I left hanging.
- Other-wise: I think I'm doing good! I've been learning more about how to just handle life and everything, and I'm still going through it I suppose.
listening to anything?
I don't often listen to new music, but since this will also be infrequent, it might be fun to share some tracks I've been into as of late here. I'm all over the place musically; I just mostly go off of feels and catchy-ness. Though I have a tendency for electronic and well-executed strings, especially for upbeat stuff.
Recently I found out that one of my co-workers is part of a band, and I have actually begun listening to their music a little bit during work! I didn't expect to find out that the guy I worked with had this singing voice, and it was kinda a fun surprise to see that the album I was listening to a good amount lately, Mapmaker, is inspired by The Owl House. I hope to go to one of their shows soon!
