Your Privacy Is Important to Us

At Sonuscape, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect and transmit only the minimal amount of data necessary to provide you with secure, fully functional products. For licensing and financial transactions, we rely on secure, standards-compliant partners.

Further, for your peace of mind, all disk and network activity by the Mouseless application is transparently viewable with standard system monitoring tools (see the FAQ).

The Mouseless Application

To enable trial periods, license enforcement, and user management of machines, this software transmits an anonymized machine id, your license key, and the platform being used (e.g. 'macOS 26 (arm64)', 'Linux - Fedora 42 (x86_64)') to our licensing partner, Keygen.sh (GDPR compliant). The machine id is strongly hashed and does not include any personal information. For more details on how Keygen.sh handles data, please refer to their privacy policy.

This data may pass through our servers and remain in our logs for up to 90 days to assist in security analysis, customer support and other efforts.

The version of the software in use is transmitted to our server when checking for updates. Automatic checking is enabled by default, and can be disabled in the settings menu.

No other data is collected.

Purchase-related Information

We do not process purchases. All purchases are processed by the Paddle platform (PCI DSS SAQ A and GDPR compliant), so your card statement will show "PADDLE.NET * SONUSCAPE" as the purchase reference. For more details on how Paddle handles purchase data, please refer to their privacy policy.

We use the email you enter when purchasing a license to send you the license key and critical service notifications (such as security alerts or subscription pricing changes). We will not use it for other purposes, and we do not share it with third parties.

Website Analytics

Minimal, non-identifying analytics (type of browser and os being used, buttons clicked, features used, etc.) may be collected by us to improve the website and/or user experience. We do not use cookies and we do not track you or your machine. We do not use any third-party software or services for these analytics.

Disclaimer of Warranty

This software is provided on an "as is" basis. In no event shall Sonuscape LLC nor any of its employees or associates be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including but not limited to any loss of data or computer failure, arising out of the use or inability to use the software.

Refund Policy and Trial Period

We offer refunds up to 7 days from the date of purchase of a Lifetime license or the initial purchase of a subscription. If you request a refund in that timeframe, your license will be revoked immediately, and funds should return within 5 business days from the date of refund.

Subscription renewal charges are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.

If you have used a trial period but were unable to evaluate the program due to technical issues, please reach out to support for a trial renewal.

Subscription Terms

Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless canceled prior to the commencement of the next billing cycle. You authorize our payment processor (Paddle) to charge the applicable subscription fee to your designated payment method at the start of each renewal period.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the link in the subscription confirmation email from Paddle, or through our customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the software features until that period ends. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing for our service or any components thereof in any manner and at any time. Any price changes to your subscription will take effect following email notice to you, starting with the next billing cycle.

Permitted Use

You may use this software only for lawful purposes, and in accordance with the terms of this agreement. You may not use this software in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, national or international law or regulation.

Continued use of this software after the trial period requires a valid Lifetime license or an active Subscription. If a subscription is canceled or expires due to non-payment, the software may revert to trial mode or cease functioning until a valid license is restored.

A single license permits program activation on up to five (5) machines at a time. Unauthorized attempts to bypass the licensing mechanism or machine limits are prohibited. To prevent abuse, we reserve the right to impose reasonable lifetime and/or time-bound limits on the number of machines that can be activated or used with a single license (e.g. 10 lifetime activations and/or 3 activations per month).

Termination and Enforcement

We reserve the right to revoke a license and/or block an IP address if there is clear evidence of fraud, abuse, or any violation of the terms outlined in this agreement.

Such actions may include, but are not limited to, unauthorized distribution of the software or attempting to circumvent licensing mechanisms and/or machine limits.

In cases of significant violations, including but not limited to willful infringement of intellectual property rights or fraudulent activities, we reserve the right to pursue legal action to the fullest extent permitted by law, including seeking damages, injunctions, or other remedies.

Prohibition of Reverse Engineering and Distribution

Except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law, you are prohibited from decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to discover the source code of the software. You may not modify, adapt, translate, rent, lease, loan, resell for profit, distribute, or create derivative works based upon the software or any part thereof. Distribution or sharing of the software's source code, whether in original or modified form, is strictly prohibited.

We reserve the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions from time to time, without notice. It is your responsibility to check this page before updating or downloading our software.
