my name is logic and i am a digital artist! i follow from @logictxt! this blog is generally PG-16, SFW with possibility for suggestive art. But the main blog is much less safe in its reblogs, more on that within its own pinned.

All recent and newly posted artwork is described in ALT text, regardless of the post body noting so. While I did manage to make it a habit to describe the images I post, i often forget to leave in a note. Please check for ALT before tagging as undescribed!!
Older artwork (and images sent in by other people) may lack image description or have text in the post body itself. Feel free to add your own and I’ll add it to the image’s ALT text!

I draw primarily nonhumans from whatever work of media is currently rotting my brain. Expect loads of posts about one blorbo and then a spontaneous switch to another!
(Notably though, Buckshot Roulette has been a recurring topic every now and then)

in other news i suddenly found myself studying japanese again despite telling myself im not ready to commit to that sort of thing yet... it started because i noticed picking up some stuff from puyo puyo in particular.

idk how far that curiosity will take me but i'm using a different method from back then

at least i can now say i know considerably More japanese than i did by the end of my last attempt years ago.

(don't know most kanji well enough to write them though. enjoy this kana baby speak. there's translations in ALT)

self reblog evening bump making this makes me appreciate kanji existing a little bit more. it feels really unweildy to write in kana even if it's technically more sounds per symbol i don't think learning kanji would solve that problem because most of the speed lost is because i take too long to remember the hiragana...it would definitely be awesome to gain a third language to a reasonable comprehension level especially if the method would be somewhat similar to how we learned english!immersion does work! but you have to be genuinely curious about it

puyo puyo ぷよぷよ ecolo puyo puyo ecolo unusual ecolo doodle post doodle dump i've been doing this shit for over a week and just like in denial that i'm doing any serious effort and then i can write in hiragana pretty confidently and inhaling this jp grammar primer and installed anki and have been listening to beginner jp podcasts...and play in google translate by typing out phrases on my own to see if they translate well...i mean at least i'm not starting from 0 by any means. even if my knowledge was minimal

i actually did wind up making a model in blender once. i needed one of Aldebaran for Aster Terror Star’s glitch effects and wound up making it through a bunch of video courses on how to use this thing

as expected for a first model ever it’s not very good, i realized there are some fundamental problems that prevented me from properly rigging it, but i rigged it enough to be serviceable for a few sprites

i do want to try again to make a smaller, simpler model of aster rhat i can actually rig and make them do a little dance or something…. never got around to it yet though

as for live 2d i think i did something with an old version of my persona at the time Years ago, or at least in a program similar to it? I’m not digging it up rn tho

OH YEAH i made like a “prop” for myself to use in art in blender. CaelOS (fictional operating system in my project) has this kernel that is Very annoying to create by hand or even with csp’s filters

in practice it’s split into an inner and outer side and exported against a green bg, then has some facets removed in csp. it came out really neat, i use it Very Occasionally

ask post ideally it would be awesome to make entire backgrounds in 3d tbh

ask post not art i still use blender to make mockup models to reference. Very Occasionally. like deltarune battat's head at first or aster's scythe thing which needs a proper design rn again now that some things have changed so much to do..........
