But China is having its moment for tourists now, which is good, more travel = more collective understanding of each other
Go visit! In most places you'll be the only one there
And it'll be an adventure again like the first time you went traveling because nobody speaks a single word of English and yes that's kinda exciting
You quickly realize that humans can communicate quite easily without using language and can use your hands and feet to communicate and pointing at things to make yourself understood fine!
And people are generally very curious about tourists and foreigners and will want to help you out in any way
Easily some of the friendliest people I've ever met!
