Welcome to Kedara
A personal website by Ruben Verweij
My name is Ruben Verweij
and
what you’ve discovered here is my personal website. I write about whatever
interests me at the time. Currently, that’s mostly the following topics:
Human web (a.k.a. Indieweb, smallweb),
Personal stuff,
Books,
Tech,
Yoga (practice and philosophy),
Philosophy,
Sanskrit and
Kedara (about this website). I also keep track of what I’m focused on
now.
- This month, I’m joining the yearly festival of blogging again: find my contributions to Blaugust here (7 pages so far).
Some of my pages
Some of the pages that I’ve been working on lately include Re: My spirituality in three stories, Colophon, Jazzy Listenin': New Groove - Peter Beets, Feeling blue after the end of Heartstopper and Now, July 2026: Web Writers' Collective & Fountain pens. This website is bilingual: currently, 61% of the pages are written in English and 39% of the pages are written in Dutch.
I’ll frequently post pages before they’re fully baked and some of them I’ll even update occasionally. Once they’re complete enough for a first version, they’re also shown on my blog. Some (random) examples of more or less finished pages are Much to my own disappointment, I'm not a journal-in-a-notebook-with-a-fountain-pen kind of guy, (Nederlands:) Jazzy Listenin': aan het eind beginnen, Junited 2026, Food Forest and Book Review: When There Are Wolves Again by E.J. Swift.
Also check out the overview of slash pages, the about page or the colophon. I share interesting links here and have listed more recommendations on my Blogroll page. There are various ways to follow my work.
Explore by topic
All of my pages are also interconnected by links and organized by topic. Therefore, the topics page is a good starting point to explore my website further. The topics with the most pages are shown below:
I hope you’ll enjoy your visit to my website. Have a wonderful day! ❤︎
