I’m making an effort to be more genuine.

Often, in the pursuit of becoming the person I want to be, I stray from who I am, and it’s draining.

I dont want to abandon either completely, because they’re both obviously important, but I’m struggling with what that means, and how I approach it, how I do it…

To be less vague,…well that’s just it. I don’t really know what I mean.

I need to take less bs from others, but also learn to be more patient and understanding of others. Stuff like that.

I guess one of my fears is that I’m perceived (in general, but also) as a POS because of the way that I am or want to be. This comes from the doormat yes-man thing, I imagine.

I might be biting off more than i can chew here, it seems so much easier, however draining, to continue as-is, but it’s gotta feel great to find a balance between them; to be able to grow and develop as a person, while staying confident in myself.

To be honest, I dont really know what I’m saying here, I’m really just letting thoughts flow, which is good, right? (please validate me 😂)

I need to find a balance and I have no idea where to start. At the moment, all I can do is jump from one extreme to the other. Would love any suggestions anyone has. Thanks.
