Who am I?

Hello! I am Joel, a 20 year old currently majoring in Cybersecurity at the University of Cincinnati. I enjoy working on anything technical, and have my own server and rack I love to do all of my many projects on. Whether it is complicating my home network further, spinning up interesting service I want to mess with, playing with some simple hardware to make the LEDs flash how I want, or putting up another website for a friend, I am always messing with new technology that interests me.

Other interests outside of Cybersecurity?

Outside of my technical ventures, I also work in the film industry doing sound. I have worked on everything from Tubi films, to true crime documentaries, to short films, to reality shows. You can find more about my film work on its website at joelbergaudio.com.

I have been rock climbing for around a year now. It is one of my favorite activities, and is a great workout while feeling like I am just hanging out with my friends! I climb around a v5 currently, but I am always improving and getting better at different styles.

I have been producing music for years at this point. I even have some music released (of various quality since a lot of it is very old)

I got my first DSLR when I was in around 7th grade. Ever since, I have really enjoyed going out and taking pictures of things around me. Whether it is just a cool angle of something that I walk past every day, or whales jumping out of the water on a trip to Canada, I try to find scenes that look nice and save them.
