A fox's life

I wish someone had been sitting in that chair on the right

I know Americans are not going to be impressed by abandoned petrol (gas) stations, but it's a novelty here. And in central London, no less. I can't imagine what this land is worth.
Tabitha wanted to go and hang out with a friend from school. It's so funny how differently people do parenting: Tabitha's friend just goes out to meet her, meanwhile we're paranoid helicopter parents by comparison. Sorry kid.
Charlotte and I wandered around Coal Drops, down the canal, around the streets. Fun little wander. I don't like to think about things in terms of recharging because then I think about how quickly my battery depletes these days, and that's sad. But I feel really good, relaxed, happy, fulfilled right now.
I got some new trainers, on offer, in my size. That never happens. They're not my usual style but they are super comfy and I'm an old man now. Picked up some basics from Uniqlo too. I love Uniqlo.
Nice little old skool set today: cool buildings, light traps, cool cars, people fishing.
Charlotte is so good at spotting pictures. I always feel a bit like I've failed when she spots something. Like I should have spotted it first. Sometimes it makes me super grumpy; that how childish I am. She'd be a really good photographer, but she has no interest in it. Either that or she sees how much it means to me and doesn't want to take it away from me, which she definitely could. Don't tell anyone 🤫 I would be such an envious little baby about it.
