Things I’m (semi-)excited about right now:

• I’m about to paint almost done painting the back and front of our house. To do: the side walls!
• I’m considering replacing got rid of my trusty 10.5 11.5 12-year-old BMW 318d and have replaced it with a new-to-me ’23 318i.
• Our LEGO collection’s kept growing. The most recent additions were “Hokusai’s Great Wave” and the “Dune ornithopter.”
• Picked up an extremely cheap SX tele with the idea of refinishing it in a “butterscotch blonde.” Like all my other guitar “projects,” this one isn’t going anywhere currently.
• I’m pretty much done with WordPress. I picked it because it was, and is, incredibly popular. If I was going to build “IndieWeb solutions” that people could actually use, I figured, I had to go with WordPress. But I just can’t be promoting it anymore.

Here’s the older stuff. It’s still mostly relevant, I didn’t get much done at all!

• Just started playing the drums! Got one of Roland’s entry-level (electronic) kits.
• Been working on, and using, my very own feed reader for a few … years now. Time to open-source that f—ker. I basically ported this thing to a WordPress plugin and ditched this one … and eventually gave up on WordPress. Haven’t really used an RSS reader in like half a year. 😬
• I previously talked about getting a Les Paul Classic. I’ve since gotten a Traditional!
• I’ve completely refretted my 1970s SG copy, which wasn’t easy! Thing is … it now needs a new nut. I’ve got the nut; just need to shape and install it now!
• My refinished Telecaster Thinline could still use a few adjustments, and the same goes for my actual SG. My guitars are a bit of an ongoing thing, which I unfortunately revisit only a couple times per year, because priorities.
• I still have quite a bit of work on my Space Invaders cocktail table arcade cab.
