Kings Heath Comic Con Returns – Saturday September 19th

After such a successful and well-received inaugural comic con as part of a year-long residency in Kings Heath, Birmingham, we’re doing it all again.

Birmingham’s one and only comic focused comic convention, we pride ourselves on offering a full and fun programme of special guests and events to keep you busy throughout the day.

Last year, our first show as met with so much great feedback; we had to do it all again and aim for a bigger show. And with very special guest, writer Mark Millar we couldn’t have hoped for a bigger name. But, along with Mark, we have John McCrea, Ian Edginton, JAke Detonator, Ian Richardson, Kevin F Sutherland, Lew Stringer, Laura Howell, Hunt Emerson, Phil Winslade, Sonia Leong, Paul McCaffrey and CUD‘s Will Potter.

Plus, there will be workshops from Laura Howell, Marc Jackson and JAke Detonator, teaching you all how to draw Star Wars. And with the 501st Legion making a return, expect there to be a disturbance in the Force too.

That and a live art auction in support of the Kings Heath Food Bank, as well as an interview with Mark Millar and we hope you enjoy the show and the day. And maybe stick around to enjoy Kings Heath, one of the best places to live in Birmingham.
