This is an open question, looking for suggestions: As the number of relevant pages grows, is there a way we can order the items on each list in a more convenient or logical manner? Even I sometimes find it hard to look something up on this list/table.
I find alphabetical order doesn't work well for this kind of topic, because the spelling of transliterated names varies, and the labeling of monuments doesn't follow a particular standard (e.g. sometimes the name of the patron comes first, sometimes the word "mosque" or "complex" comes first, etc). But perhaps ordering them by foundation date, or even geographically (e.g. roughly north to south)? Or by rough order of importance (which is subjective but there are some reasonable general opinions I think)? Thoughts appreciated. If there are good suggestions, I'm happy to do the changes myself.
