This is a navigational template created using {{navbox}}. It can be transcluded on pages by placing {{Nuclear weapons by country}} below the standard article appendices and above categories.
Initial visibility
This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.
To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

The template includes:
- States recognised under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
- States known or widely accepted to possess nuclear weapons but not recognised under the treaty.
- States that formerly possessed nuclear weapons or maintained active nuclear weapons programmes which were subsequently abandoned.
- States that pursued nuclear weapons programmes but did not develop or deploy nuclear weapons.
- States widely described in reliable sources as having pursued, or being suspected of pursuing, nuclear weapons.
Links point to dedicated nuclear weapons articles where available or broader articles where necessary. Israel is described as "undeclared", reflecting its policy of nuclear ambiguity.
