Leila 02:11
Leila, Leila, Leila You’re a fine one ain't ya Your beauty glows like moonlight on the desert in Iran And you smell like musk and roses When you take me in your arms I’d never ask you to stay But just come home once in a while You shimmer like a forest Full of fireflies Your voice encapsulates me That smooth jazz style And you smell like musk and roses When you take me in your arms I’d never ask you to stay But just come home once in a while Planes and trains and cars Festivals and shows You glitter round the world and I smile because I know You're where you’re meant to be But Leila darling please Just once in a little while Come back home to me Leila, Leila, Leila You’re a fine one aint ya Your beauty glows like moonlight on the desert in Iran And you smell like musk and roses When you take me in your arms I’d never ask you to stay But just come home once in a while

Paul 02:44
Is there moss growing on your gravestone The family on Facebook tell me they clean it when they can I kind of hope they leave the moss though It’s comforting to know there’s something growing from your bones miss you at all the wrong times see you in all the wrong things I hope wherever you are You can listen to wham! and gipsy kings Sometimes I hear you in my dreams Often I see your face in mine It feels as big as Wicklow mountains And as deep as the lake beside Dad, when you’re watching over I hope you’re proud of what you see
3.
Hey Mumma 02:33
Hey hey mumma Not everything’s about you When I scream fuck the world That don’t always include you Maybe it does sometimes And that’s okay too I know you raised me on your own And I’ll always love you But I am not in your image That’s not what you taught me I am strong and bold and brave Just like you And I am not my father I know we’ll always miss him Just you and me is more than enough It always has been Hey hey Mumma Ooooooooo I’m getting older and you are too We’ve gotta run, we’ve gotta move Hey hey Mumma Ooooooooo I wanna know Wanna grow I wanna change together Wanna feel what you feel What you know Hey hey mumma

Nico 02:03
Nico Nicky Nicole I hope that when we’re old We’re still sitting together on a porch somewhere Sunlight reflecting off our grey hair And I hope I can still hear you Laughing Nico Nicky Nicole Sometimes I wake up feeling fucking old So you kidnap me from my room to the laundromat it’s pretty hard to be sad When I can’t Stop Laughing Nico Nicky Nicole Probably won’t believe us till we’re old About this odyssey we’ve both been through Every changing me every different you And how we never Stopped Laughing

about

Striking, honest, and raw, PRECIOUS NAMES is the debut release from Emerald Cooney and Aemyn Connolly’s blooming musical friendship. Each song on the Precious Names EP is an honest dedication to one of Emerald’s loved ones, and lays the foundation of a mutually vulnerable and trusting creative relationship. Aemyn's sweet harmonies and supportive guitar lines are married with Emerald's clear voice and grounded songwriting to form a true collaboration chronicling the lines between grief and joy, love and loss, romantic and platonic. Queer at heart and steeped in folk tradition, Precious Names at its core is a celebration of what it means to love and be loved.
