This is the greatest programming course I have ever taken. Not just on Udemy, but anywhere, including University. I cannot recommend Anthony enough for creating such an interesting, engaging, and brilliant course. This is a MUST for all JavaScript programmers. "Weird parts" is somewhat a misnomer - this course teaches you how to use JavaScript *properly*, to appreciate the language.

This course has open my eyes with a lot of Aha!!! moments. Now I'm able to read code and beginning to understand what's going on. The execution context and the execution stack is primordial to understand the code and nobody in other courses don't even talk about it.

The real strength of this course lies in Anthony's painstakingly thorough explanations of the underlying architecture and functionality of the Javascript engine itself, which sheds light on all the concepts (closures, prototypes, etc) that are the most confusing to people learning this language.

This is the BY FAR THE BEST course ever done in whole world, I dare to say! Besides JS and programming, this course helping me understand, learn and work on all other "fields of life" that I encounter, so I really don`t know how to stress the importance of this great course and tutor out. If this way all teachers would teach, the world would be much better place!

Tony takes seemingly complicated concepts and breaks them down so that the core ideas driving the behavior of the language are easily understood. If you give this course a real chance, which is not at all difficult to do given the expertise of the instructor, the organization of the course content, and the flow of concepts, you will actually enjoy developing with JavaScript and no longer find yourself trapped with errors that you don't understand.

This is how all good courses on programming should be, focus on the use of the language and how it actually works rather than just syntax and basic programming patterns. A "teach a man to fish approach" rather than just spoon feeding lines of code.

Very deep explanation of the core principals. Well structured and easy to comprehend. You get the whole picture of HTML/CSS right from the beginning so you can understand why you should do things in a certain way.

I started my career more than years ago, and this is the type of study that makes you feel like you are starting web development again. Tony is the teacher every programmer needs to listen to at least one time in their lives.

The course teaches the important things to know and do to build software right. As developers, we are prone to jump straight into writing code, but this course teaches you to take a step back,understand the problem, and understand the users before writing code.
