Don’t miss this year’s annual panel of C++ standards committee members! If you’ve attended this panel before, expect something more this year, because C++26 is a special release… with its addition of static reflection, as well as an async model (std::execution), contracts, and significant safety improvements, all hot off the press and coming quickly to a compiler near you.

Here are this year’s panelists, and some of their roles and active interests:
  • Andrei Alexandrescu (reflection, parallelism)
  • Bjarne Stroustrup (DG direction group, EWG evolution chair emeritus, safety, pattern matching)
  • Barry Revzin (reflection, evolution)
  • Daisy Hollman (SG9 ranges chair emerita, AI, ML)
  • Gabriel Dos Reis (SG12 UB chair emeritus, language evolution, modules)
  • Guy Davidson (WG21 C++ incoming chair, UK SC 22 programming languages chair, floating point)
  • Inbal Levi (Israel SC 22 programming languages representative, Israel WG 21 C++ chair, LEWG library evolution chair)
  • Jeff Garland (LWG library working group co-chair, Beman Project lead)
  • Khalil Estell (exception handling, optimization)
  • Nina Ranns (committee secretary, SG22 C and C++ coordination co-chair)
  • Ruslan Arutyunyan (SG1 concurrency/parallel co-chair, std::execution, SIMD)
  • Timur Doumler (SG21 contracts co-chair, safety)
  • Vittorio Romeo (finance, library evolution)

Panel moderator: Herb Sutter (WG21 C++ chair, reflection, safety)

Some are long-serving participants and national/subgroup chairs, some are newer participants with fresh perspectives, and all have firsthand information about current progress in the C++ standard.

Come join us to ask and hear about these and more things to look forward to in Standard C++!
