hotness?
Hotness is calculated by weighting the exponential moving average (β = 0.2) of a page’s pageviews over time against the EMA (γ = 0.5) of its responses (incoming Webmentions) over time (α = 1.6). Pages’ scores are compared and sorted to determine a hotness ranking, and the top 10 are shown on this page.

It’s been about a year and a half since I changed how colour schemes (i.e., light and dark themes) work on my website, and after reviewing and refactoring things again recently, I thought I would share how everything ties together and allows for different levels of control over colour schemes.
