UNIVAC 494,
a 30-bit real-time mainframe computer system by UNIVAC introduced in 1966, and member of the modular UNIVAC 490 series. The 494 has a memory cycle time of 750 nanoseconds. Core memory starts at 16 KiWords and was expandable to 2 x 128 KiWords. The ALU features ones' complement 30 and 60-bit integer arithmetic, 60-bit or 10-digit BCD arithmetic, as well as double precision (1:11:48) floating point arithmetic.
