Timo Saari,
a Finnish computer scientist affiliated with Unisys Finland, and before from 1970 to 1985 1, with the University of Helsinki. He worked with Juha Kasanen and Mika Korhonen on computer chess and chess problem solving programs 2. They further wrote the mainframe chess program Shy for the Burroughs B7800/B7900, which competed at the WCCC 1983 in New York.
